well im looking to do a hemi swap in my 2000 quad cab dakota and baught a 04 5.7 with computers and harness.

now i have seen the 4wd guys have to modify the oil pan to clear but will it clear in a 2wd.

and also any one on here complete this swap?? that could answer a few of my questions?

 

you might be the first on here to do it...
but i think you will have to mod the pan still to fit in a 2wd

 

i dont mind modifying it, just worried it might sacrifice the engine.

also my truck is stock floored to room is tighter

you likely know my truck but i havent worked on it in a long time had some rough times. lost my g/f to a drunk driver. ended up selling my shop and well just started to get back to working on my projects again.
