Default Replacement of whole exhaust system

1998 Dodge Dakota SLT 4WD

The exhaust system on this vehicle is completely rustified, from the manifolds to the exhaust tip. There are two sizable breaks/cracks where the manifold connects to the y-pipe and also where the cat connects to the forward run.

My question concerns what to replace it with. I would like to go with a header kit and replace everything with ceramic or stainless.

Any suggestions out there on what to get, on a low to mid budget? With a header kit do you have to upgrade the Cat to a performance model or can you go with a standard OEM replacement?

Thanks!

not to sure one header kits and what not but a magnaflow hi flow cat is cheaper or the same price then most oem replacements so i wouldn't see why you woudln't get one.
