my rims need to be sold....

this guy wants to trade for them but wont give me money and his rims(like i want)

his are 17x9 RT rims with 255/45r17 tires that are "special order"

and he wants todo a strait trade...im kinda thinking i need more then that since mine are worth 1310 and theres very little damage on them

so i need to see if any of you guys want to buy my rims or trade me yours and some cash along with them......

 

make him give you some cash along with the rims... maybe rims + $500

 

Are his chrome? I know those are worth a pretty penny.

 

hes claiming that his special order tires are ordered from over seas(BS)...and dosent want to give cash with his to trade.....

and no his are not chrome

 

ya he is full of sh*t then... i would just find someone local to sell them to and hold out till you can get what you need out of them...

 

If they are r/t rims they are r/t rims. I don't understand what is "special order" abour them.

EDIT: I just realized the tires were special order, not the rims. My fault

 

Sounds like:

A.) He's an idiot
B.) He overpayed for tires...

 

get the make model and numbers of tires and call around and see if any local tire guys have them you can also try tirerack.com and see if they have them on there or tell him to keep his speical tires and just the rims+some cash

 

he got taken for a ride lol and sounds like a complete idiot... JMHO

and i got to talking to him more today

he wants to do a strait trade. his tires are some brand that ive never heard of that are 255 40 r 17(seems pretty narrow for a 9in wide rim) anyways. a strait tradefor mine when my 20's are worth a total of 1310 for rims and tires BRAND NEW...so ill take 900 for then strait up form anyone who wants them....but ill go as low as 500 for a trade with rt.gif rims(idc if the tires are worn or not)
