Default Help With Suspension

Hello all,

I'm a first time pickup truck owner (used 2002 Dakota Sport) and I'm wondering what's causing the offset seen below. I originally thought there were spacers behind the wheels but I removed the wheels and no spacers. So besides the rims, is there anything else in here that would cause this offset? I want to go to stock rims/tires for the summer... any help would be greatly appreciated!

Offset:

Front:

Rear:

Thats all from the rims I wish I had some rims like that. I like it when they stick out past the truck.

i dont see any problem, thats just how the wheels are.
most guys like that look, plus the wider stance does improve handling a mite

Wink Thanks

Thanks everyone. I guess the offset thing isn't my style. I found a set of stockers for cheap and will probably sell the ones shown in the picture.

OK-here's another one:

What's making the truck sit so damn high? I have a buddy with an R/T... that's a functional height for me. I'm wondering if it's an easy fix to lower it to at least stock... ideally to R/T height.

I realize these questions are probably sacrilege but I bought this truck for functionality. If I want to ride around in something cool looking, I'll take my Viper out.

I think it sits about the same height as all 4x4 dak's but that's just by looking at the pic. When you are getting ready to sell the rims let me know cause I might be interested in them.

EDIT.
After looking at pics that you posted it seems that last guy has lift blocks under rear leafs and looks to be a extender(where the control arms bolt on the front)

Difference between my truck and yours mine is a 98 4x4 with more rust(pa over salt's the roads). Which in 2000 they changed some stuff but I think for the most part they left pretty much the suspension alone(im not 100% on that) Anyone feel free to tell me if I am right or wrong.

I'm looking at your vs DRG's truck, and i think you have a leveling kit. Ca't tell for suure since IDK what they look like on the front suspension, but your bed rails look horizontal while there's a 2" stock rake.

What's the metric tire size? I have P265/70/16's

that said, am i seeing things or do i see a rear sway bar may have existed at tome time if not currently?
