why cant it be easy... like 300 or 350 CU is the cutoff, less = small block, more = big block

I THINK i've seen a 289 big block chevy..not sure, but i think it was a short stroke for forced induction. Then the motown 454 small block i just posted.

They also do a 528 CI hemi crate @ 650 HP on pump...or the 572 Hemi @ 735 street HP...

o i don't doubt it but still its annoying IMO

EDIT: do you know how much that 572 runs for? I would imagine nearly 10k but just for curiosity's sake it'd be cool to know

no, but 10-13K is about right. I think the 632 used to go for 13,6 and the 454 small block is like 11,5

damn... thats quite a lot of money but it is quite an amazing engine.

Hey guys, here's an update on the swap. The block is a 383 B series big block. Got it tore down the block's been cleaned and honed. Here's a list of the parts I'll be going back with ; KB hyper pistons, moly rings, all new bearings, conditioned heads with larger valves, mopar 509 cam & lifters, comp cams 911 springs, edelbrock performer rpm intake & 600 cfm carb. About to put all back together, then just got to get it in the truck.
