Default sell or stay??

hey guys!

What do you think? I've got an 02 extended cab 4.7 4wd. Just hit 70k miles. The thing is in excellent shape... runs good, looks good inside and out (when I give it a good washing!) I've been debating in my head on whether to sell it and get something new... or just keep it put some of that same money into accessories and mods.

70k is still pretty young these days. So I think she's got plenty of life left in her. It's pretty much stock, so what kind of stuff do you think I should do?

Anyone done any interior work as far as a dash mount gps unit or anything? Wonder if there are any aftermarket radio/gps that replace the stock radio.. that look good and fit right. Or even any really nice portable gps mounts that fit on the dash somewhere. (i hate the suction cup and bean bag things)

Dan, you can only loose going to another Dodge at this point. The 3rd gen dakotas IMO are not as good. Bad ground clearance, and they now use struts on there IFS for there 4x4s, much like a 4x2. If the truck has been good to you, stay with it.

2nd gen dakota is the best 1 IMO.

Why dish out money for a new truck when yours is still good? once you get your first scratch dents and dings from working/using your new truck, and a few miles, the novelty of a new truck is gone, and you just wound up spending more $$ lol.

Plus its great to get high miles on a truck, adds lots of character.

id say to keep the dakota...its damn nice!!!1

my trucks got 198,000 miles on it(look at my sig) and its still goin..i just bought a tranny for it a couple days ago and now looking at an engine(around 70k miles on it)...and just swaping it all out...because its cheaper

id start with the basic....dual exhaust...cold air intake....maybe a proformance chip....what ever you want and have the money for will add to the value of the dakota

no... as long as you been here, and you still telling people to chip there trucks? What the hell, you should know those things are a scam and useless.. after about 6 months the computer reads around them and the so called 50+ hp and 30%+ mpg is lost forever and now you have a super cool paperweight and something to sell on ebay that doesn't work and get - feedback.

Throttle Body, H/O Intake Manifold, H/O Cams, Headers, Exhaust, SCT or Superchips, are your basic mods...

Keep it, or sell it to me!

For the GPS mounts, I've only seen the suction mount and I have a bean bag thing. Not the biggest fan of them, either!
