Pardon me but I think thats one hell of a bad idea to do on a truck. Maybe on a honda civic this would fit good but for a truck. One big puddle or mud hole and your intake will suck up some water for sure.

Looks good I love the lights. I though about doing the same thing as you with the filter but after I thought of how much I go mudding it would not be a good idea esspically if I cross the creek.

Thanks, but we've already gone over this.

Oops sorry, I must of missed a couple of posts last night when I posted. I'm more the type to go throw my truck in a pit of mud so that intake isnt an option for me.

Do you still have the short on the flashers?, Either you got a positive wire touching the body or a ground somewhere / or your flasher circuit is pulling too many amps and overload the fuse. How many circuits do you have for say 1 light? Probably low beam, high beam, flasher, and Halo? or do you have your halos on with another circuit?

So you dont have any issues with it? I was told the best you can do with out as many turns.

It doesn't make a big enough difference for me to notice any issues, but yeah I've heard you want it as straight as possible. But, I figure it can't be worse than stock.

On the headlights, it must be a short somewhere. The halos have their own wires and they don't draw much to begin with. I'm being lazy right now, maybe I'll be up to checking in a few hours.

Don't want to Hijack the thread but I just had a wacky idea for the air filter. The way the intake manifold is made on the top would it be a good thing to put a carburator style air filter directly on top of the throttle body? I know it wouldn't be cold air coming in (at least for now until I decide to cut the hood a bit) but it would take out pretty much all the restrictions from where the air comes in to the throttle body.

something like this

Pretty much every guy you see on here with an aftermarket hood has that setup. I don't know about with a regular hood though.

It will fit under a regular hood.

So will an air cleaner from a 95 Dak, so the tubing can run from the end of the 95 air cleaner and out to the fog light hole creating a true ram air/ CAI with the factory hood.
