engine swap??

Lightbulb engine swap??

i was ondering if it would be possible to put the r/t 5.9L in my 5.2L slt dakota? please help

Its actually not all that bad to do if you already have a v8 its a bit harder if you have the v6. It takes some time and patience. Im thinking about doing a 8.0 v10 swap in my 85 ram. I wish it would fit in my dak but its too big only way it would fit is if I did major fab work

i know where you can get a v10...

Im actually working on a deal for one but Im not sure what im goign to do. I can get the v10 and the tranny both with 115,000 miles for 450 and plus its 1/4 mile from me.

yea, well the guy i know only has the engine. haha get this, he pulled the v10 out of his 2500 ram and put the 03 common rail cummins in it. i give him so much crap for putting a cummins in a dodge. i mean why not just buy one. but anyways. if your become interested let me know.

Well I guess its not that bad it prob took some time but im sure was cheaper in the long run.

Yes its a very common swap. Search for engine swaps they've been done numerous times and any 3.9/5.2/5.9 swaps are very similiar because they are all basically the same.

And dodgeramguy thats pretty cool, a friend at work bought a '73 440 engine and tranny and is swapping that into his 94 short bed 2wd, short cab ram. That thing will be sweet.

wow a 440 in a 2 gen ram Ive never saw one that will be sweet. I want to do the v10 only cause how many have you saw in a 1 gen ram and plus its a v10 lol
