side mirrors?

yep, they bolt right up. it's just 3 studs with nuts. The 6x9s allow you to see more, plus you can get a blind spot mirror without taking up the entire mirror. For me, going from the 5x7 manuals was a pretty exciting upgrade for me, heh.

Yeah,I have the little round spotters for the mirrors, but I didn't pit them on yet because they take up like 1/3 of the mirror. The blind spots are big enough. I'd rather have the 6x9's with the spotters.

rakaric, did u get the mirrors and switch from a ebay store as a kit, or did u order them in seperate pieces?

i got each part separately. I'm not sure if stores actually carry any kind of after market switch, cuz when I bought mine it was just lucky timing...as for the one I just searched and found now: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/98-20...Q5fAccessories

there's a cap on the driver's side door panel like...right next to the mirror. Just take the cap off....and you may have to file down the plastic a tad to stick the switch through (i know I had to), and you just screw it in place. You'll see how it goes when you get the switch...not hard at all.

ok so with further inspection i cant find the cap thing u were talking about for the power mirrors, my truck is a 02 and has the new interior style, i also have manual locks, and windows so none of the fancy electronics buttons, is this the same style u had rakaric?
