well the 2000s have the old design...i forgot about the interior design in the 02s. Either way, the whole cap part is insignificant cuz it just covers up a hole. You can always make a hole for the switch.

yes the conenctions are there however 2 things you may run into. the actual conncetors not properly lining up and/or the CTM or body control modual (which controls all functions within the cab) doesnt have that circuit turned on. you can have the dealership do this. and you may need to splic the old style switch into the new style harness.
