Default I've had my third Dakota

for about a month now. It is a 98 extended cab 4x4 Sport with the 318 and automatic. The PO still had the window sticker so I get to see how it is equipped. 3.55 limited slip(rear) differentials, 31x10.5 tires, 22 gal tank, etc. with only 62k miles. So far runs and drives great. What I'm wondering about is the four wheel drive. It has the 4x4 system where the front end turns all the time. At first this bothered me a little. Anyone have a good or bad report on this type of 4x4? The truck drives fine and not making any strange sounds. Great to be in a Dakota again!!

2001 4x4 dakota, everything is still goin strong here on the driveline, excpet the axle shaft splines to the half shaft wiped themselves out back on october/07, that was due to a **** poor design flaw by chrysler (allowed water to enter into spline connection and rusted them out. otherwirse so far so good here
