depends, some kits are good some are junk.
you get what you pay for
the solenoid only pulls the door latch, its the door poppers that actually push the door open
the heavier the popper the harder it tends to be to close your door, keep that in mind, if you get 100 pound units then you're gonna have to close the door with 100+ pounds of force in order for it to latch properly

not sure, brand names are important in the custom industry, if they dont put their brand on it, chances are its chinese cast-offs and no good.
but if you think 100 bones is worth the risk go for it, if you think you can make them work in case they dont work properly
with the solenoids you're gonna want to make sure the cable is taut, not tight, and not loose, and make absolutely certain that the solenoids arent pulling the latch past its max, or they will pull the entire assembly apart
and make sure the cable is extremely secure or else you'll wind up stuck outside the truck with no door handles and a broken cable end....
another thing, id make sure you have a way to get into the truck in case you find yourself in the middle of nowhere with a dead battery.... or keep a spare window around the house
i've seen shaved handles that work great for many many years and i've seen them turn into the biggest headache after a week... good luck

oh ok thanks for all your help
Is this brand a good one http://www.summitracing.com/parts/VIA-80158-35DP/
Also do you think that a 45 lbs soleniods would be enough to unlock my door
I have a 98 dakota sport if that would help you with anything

Im just gonna agree with batty on the other way in. That would be my concern, that the battery dies or Murphy kicks me in the nads AGAIN (him and his "law"...) and I cant get it. Ill also agree with the you get what you pay for, I know nothing of this kinda thing. Im into big trucks not low BUT always buy quality!!!
