alright... i'ma lil late, but its all good.

for 2wd, to max the lift out.... get air ride. i'ma have around 10-12 in of lift... i'll be sittin taller than a 4X4 (by an inch or so)

but the cool thing is, you can get heavy duty bags and still be able to tow with them. but with off roading.... eh... i wouldn't recommend it hahaha.

but at the same time... you could have that high and level lift you wanted and still be able to lower it down for passengers hahaha

there's a couple site....

suicidedoors.com

gravitywerx.com

grainger.com (valves, oil&water trap)

but you'll wanna lookup how you wanna set it up.. batman13 just bagged with stock control arms...

theres bagover axle, cantilever, 4 link, triangular 4 link, reverse triangular 4 link, 6 link (which i'm gonna have)

for your setup.. i'd use dominator bags in the rear... slam specialties RE7's up front...

but just lookup bags and see what style you'd want and need.

Like what are you going to do with a 6in lifted 2wd truck??

I never understood why anyone would want to lower any truck. It just looks disgusting to me. If you want it lowered just get a car and not a truck. A truck is made to haul things and if you can't put a fridge or something in the bed without being able to make it over a speed bump it is worthless. I could see lifting a 2wd truck. I lifted mine just because it looked like it was lowered and I didn't like that look so I lifted it.

see, i understand where ya'll are coming from with "y lower a truck" and "raising a 2wd is pointless"... but the KEY thing to remember in ANY build... its "To each their own"

its their bill, their vehicle, their time... they want it the way they see fit.

if you wanna raise your vehicle, go right ahead. i'm just partial to the low life... but with air ride you have immediate adjustment, i'll look raised up from stock and then be back on the ground in a matter of seconds. but that is how i want my truck to be.

For me on my 2wd I did 2in front suspension lift with spacers. Rear 4in suspension lift Add a leaf basicly using a Ram 2500 leafs. And 2in body lift. So basically 4in in lift up front and 6 out back with 33s at the rear and 31s up front. Here is a quick one. I got more in my photo gallery.

You're right. Its not my decision by any means what someone else does with their truck. So if they want to lift a 2wd, lift it, i don't care. Its just my $0.02 I guess.

And lowered trucks, although it seems some hate them, still have their purpose and what not. Some are used to drag or what not and you want it low, some are used to show. Their is no problem with that in my mind. It's no different than having a show car... but again just my $0.02

I just don't really see a point in a 6 in lifted 2wd. A friend comes up and says "Sweet truck, lets go wheeling." You respond "Nope, can't its 2wd." "Oh so it just looks like it can be sweet??"

This is one of those arguments that go no where. Its someone's opinion. Its like foreign vs domestic, or ford vs. chevy or Boston vs New York (which may only be a big deal growing up in New England). You like what you like.
