thats a good idea for someone who isnt gonna swap out the 4.7 for somethign different
but i want more NA power

its probably done for. for the amount of miles on your truck, i'd say sell it as is and get something else. Even if you did an engine swap, theres only going to be a ****load more problems comming up in the near future.

and just so we're clear on something.
I've owned my dakota since 2002, and I guarantee I'll own it longer than you will own yours, so dont start with me on that ****.

well, I dont go around wrecking and blowing up my dakota unlike you, so I dont have to worry about that. But I was going to suggest you part it out, and upgrade to a lower mileage R/T. Seems awful pointless to spend 5-6k and end up with pretty much the same vehicle you had before you blew it up. Thats what I would be trying to do if I was in your situation. But what the hell, you know it all and I'm just some idiot.

and spending 5-6 k and having the same truck?(do u even know what im doin to it?) itll be faster and better looking then a stock RT "with low miles"
you hate quad cabs? that cool good for you
haha time will tell ***got

Dude you should know all projects like this ALWAYS end up being a lot more time and money then you plan. There are ALWAYS things that come up you do not expect. Ask anyone who has done a major project on a car/truck. If you think you are going to be spending 5-6k you will end up spending 8-10.
And for some reason I don't think you would be able to figure out how to either rebuilt the 4.7 or swap in something else.
Let us know when you're done making your truck "brand new"
Personally I would do like wink said and either get an r/t or a manual 4.7 2wd RC or CC. Both would be fun little trucks and a lot more fun then what you go now.
