Thats 100% of the reason why they are rubbing, because your rims are not stock. Its a back spacing issue for sure.

It's not that they arent stock, its that he or the PO didnt do research before buying them. I hope you didn't buy those rims. A post here and a google search could have prevented that.

Just turn the tires inside out. Problem solved lol.

Don't flip the tires, it was only a joke. That will destroy your hubs. You are SOL without different rims.

Its not a huge deal, just look around for the factory rims, or get the factory spacing figures, and then pick up some affordable rims like the cragers on summit racing. Mount your tires on those and the problem will be over.

Judging by the picture, it seems like you dont have enough backspacing, maybe the tire rubs the frame or control arm? You definately have enough room for wheel well clearance lock to lock....

you COULD get spacers to move the wheels outward a bit, but personally i would just get different wheels.

It had come up here and on the BMW forums I have posted on BUT they can cause major issues. Id just deal with it until you can get a replacement set of rims you like.

Oh and ALL my tires get mounted with the white lettering in. That's my preference
