Truck sputters and stalls after going through mud
The past few days I have been taking my Dak through some mud, and everytime I do, and the under body gets wet, the muffler starts making a knocking sound, and if it gets wet enough the truck will come to a stop and whenever i try to give it gas the RPMs go down and it feels like its gonna stall. It did stall a few times and took a few seconds to start and i had to give it gas. When I floor it I barely go 2mph. After a while of giving it gas and driving it slowly goes away. Does anyone know the cause of this? My exhaust is dumped right after the muffler, maybe muds getting in it?
If it's in neutral or park it revs up almost normal, except sounds like ****. When I put it in drive it feels fine idling but as soon as i give it gas the RPMs go down and I dont go anywhere. After a few minutes it will very very slowly start moving when I give it gas.
Sounds like some electronics are getting wet. Id get under and take a look at everything under there and see if anything stands out. Silicone chalk and heat shrink can help you fix it if thats the problem.
And Ill throw this out there but Id run seafoam thru the gas too. Man I wish I got commission on this stuff lol. Im selling this stuff all over the place

Id just take a quick peek for something HUGE, like a loose connector or wire with some insulation missing. Then go from there

So I got under and saw some wires that arent covered right before they enter the O2 sensors. Its not exposed metal in the wire, just the wire has no black wrap around it. So I'm gonna cover those. But ever since that happened my truck sounds different. The exhaust doesn't sound as loud and it sounds kinda of ****ty. Any Ideas why?
