has anybody installed a air/fuel gauge on the 4.7l i hooked mine up and it reads super super rich as in maxed out i know i need to hit the wire with a volt meter to see if it is the 02 sensor or the gauge i finally got my b pillar and need to get the gauges hooked up
To me sounds like you got a wire problem. Post up some pics! I had one installed on my truck, but it is not worth it because the computer is constantly changing. I took mine off and installed it in my Dragstrip TA. Where it will do better.
Does your PCM have three plugs or four? I think on the four-plug ones (NGC) the o2 sensor signal is a 2.5 - 3.5V signal instead of a 0.1-1.0V signal which is probably what the gauge needs. I may be wrong however.
I think most of the narrow band o2 sensors, like the ones with the sweeping LED's are set up for 0-1. I need to get a wideband for mine, not only because of the blower, but anybody with EFI can't really get an accurate reading without one.
