Default Stalling coming to stop

Been reading some other issues on stalling. Have not found anything useful yet, but I will continue to search. I have recently been having problems with my Dakota (2nd generation 5.2L 4x4 5-speed). The vehicle is now starting to stall coming to a stop light or stop sign. Otherwise the truck is running good.

It is not pulling any codes. I have checked that a couple of times, and no problems. It is also stalling more on hills, and when it is warmed up rather than cold. A little help will be appreciated. If you guys need more information, or have a lead I should follow, please feel free to let me know. Thanks

Sounds like it needs a new IAC (Idle air controller). This is located at the back of the throttle body.

Thanks for the reply. How often does the IAC go out on this vehicle?

Yeah, +1 to that! And don't be surprised if you go to advance auto or autozone to get a brand new one that doesn't work either!

No problem! And be sure to reset the computer after changing the IAC!
