Smile quick tire question

hey guys, right now im in need of some new tires right now i have P255/65R16 (29 in. tire) and im thinking about going up to a P265/75R16 (31in tire) do you guys think these would fit under a 2001 qc with the stock height? the only thing i would think would be a problem would be a little rubbing?

thanks

searched the stickys says can only stay with the stock tire size with the stock height? I very seriously think i could fit another inch or two under there. im not worried about the back, i can just go down to autozone and buy some blocks for like $40 but i am worried about the front? think if i cranked the torsion bars a bit they would fit?

don't get the throttle body spacer FYI.

Tire wise, I have 3's under mine (265/55 or thereabouts), and I've chewed up the sidewalls pretty good from bottoming out. But the plastic inner fender just moves out of the way, and steering is fine lock to lock.

Not to discourage your decisions on the tires but Ive run bfg A/Ts twice and both times they wore fast. They are a great tire and I would run them again but I wouldnt buy a set. If youre goin for looks thats an expensive look. General tires carry similar tires which I believe are cheaper. And they have been on my truck for 2 years and Im just gettin to the point I have to change them for winter. If youre looking for performance then there are certainly better cheaper tires. Try Ebay and Craigslist, sites like that.

*as for puttin the 31s on, go for it. I ran 30x9.50s on my 4x4 and had no problem so I went to a 32x10.50 and had minor rubbing. Truck still drove fine. Also you can pick up a lift kit or make your own for REAL cheap. Look into it and let me know.

Im running bfg a/t's on my dak and I love them Im going to buy them again. I know 3 or 4 other people that have them that also love them and they are wearing great. I even lay a little tire every now and then and my back ones still have about the same amount of tread as all the other ones do

My BFG's have a little under 50K miles on them and are almost to the point of needing replacement they will make it to the 55K mile mark easy. Just rotate them, keep the truck aligned and try not to do so many burnouts.

Default 31" tires

I have 31x10.5-15 AT tires on factory wheels. No rubbin or scrubbin at any angle or index.
