Some quick questions

i went with the jeep motor. seems to be some different connectors or something cuz not all the wiring harness plugs in. so not sure. also what about a transmission form a 98-99 durango with 5.2 or 5.9? i found several durango transmissions for $400 that are from 5.2 and 5.9 around 120xxx on them

Should work just fine, but make sure it's a 46re, cause somewhere along the line a 44re was used.

a 44re is what came in he 3.9 dakotas isnt it? i was told you could do a 318 swap on a 3.9l trans and be fine. do you know anything as far as the jeep motor?

318 had a 44re 5.9 had the 46re... i believe. 3.9 has the 42re. and a 44re is not much different than a 42re. 44re has an extra set of clutches compared to the 42re.
