new touchscreen headunit!

Default new touchscreen headunit!

so i ordered a clarion touchscreen off newegg for $200(on sale ) last wednesday
it came in today, but now i gotta wait for a stupid antenna adapter to come in and it prolly wont be in until monday
y can't automakers use a universal standard on all wiring connectors

they have the adapters at autozone i know because i got one for my dvd player head unit. or did you try that already?

i just need the antenna adapter, wherever i look it says not sold in stores, ill check advance and auto zone tomorrow so i don't have to wait for delivery

yea. mine needed an atenna adapter too. and to correct what i said earlier i got it at advance.

yea whatever they are the same thing, i just don't wanna go to napa, its really far away and way over priced
im just not gonna wanna do the wiring its a pain, i think im gonna get my stepdad to do it hes good at that kinda stuff

thats pretty sick dude. get the wiring harness at advance too. wire it to the radio and it plugs right into your existing harness. eveything is color to color.

yea i got all the wiring harness and mounting kit stuff at walmart(unfortunatly)

One of my buddys just got one cant think of the make but its all touch screen with dvd,sirius,nav,tv it was like 800 and he also got a 15 inch 2600 watt sub and amp

wow thats a ridiculous setup, im not into the rap music so dont really have a need for it, mainly country, rock, and some alternative

tamcnally did yours have to be wired up to the parking brake light? it says it needs to be, if so where is this light, and does it mean just putting the truck in park or do i have to use the actual pedal park

yea technically it was suppose to be, but the parking light switch is a ground switch, so i just ran the wire off the radio to ground and put it on a switch, because it needs to see it turn off and on. so with my setup i can watch dvd's without putting the parking brake on.
