Right now.. they are dumped under the cab...wich is why I want them extended... way to much sound bouncing back inside.. maybe if I add a few feet of pipe it will cure the noise inside.. would hate to pay for the work and it not quiet it down in the cab.

FYI, Flowmasters seem to really resonate inside the cab too but probably nothing like what it is now

if you extend them yes it will cure the resonation, but theres no need to have pipe sticking out

[QUOTE=User;1919379]only the 2000+ came with electric fans, they still had the clutch fans, just a different shroud for all of it. The 99 and below did not come with it and had a smaller shroud and a window washer bottle above the PCM in the bay ]

Are you sure the 2000+ all came with electric fans my 2001 has a clutch fan and it is definatley a R/T ?
Oh and by the way 3 1/2 months and i will be on my way back home from Iraq to start modding my R/T with all the cash i have saved over here and there will be pics out the wazoo once i get back

3 1/2 months! be careful over there man, looking forward to those pics!
I have become convinced mine is really an R/T.. was in doubt for awhile.. not knowing anything about them.. but been reading all I can find and asking alot of people questions,,, this thing came factory with the 5.9...wich from my understanding only the r/t's did... has the sway bar in the rear.. 4 leaf rear suspension etc. etc.. .I do wish it was never converted to a 5 speed..and the factory rims were on it( found some.. now just need to wait till payday to get them) would have been nice to have it as it came from the show room floor.. I also recently learned.. that only 170 of the 99 models came in the deep amethyst purple, I find that pretty cool

theres actually a 360 option, they're not only in the R/Ts, but the 5 speed is not normal, i belive you're the first i've ever seen of a 5.9 with a 5 speed from the factory, no matter the trim package
