Default New Fuel Rails Installed.

Finally ordered the crap to install my fuel rails.

2x 120degree -8an fittings double swivel
2x 90degree NPT > -8an double swivel
1x Male NPT to -6an female adapter
1x -6an fuel line connector
3foot of Steel Braided Hose.

Made my crossovers, and put Permatex Gel (BLUE) lock-tight on all the fittings, checked for leaks and everything looks fine, also put on my fuel pressure solenoid so now i can monitor it via the cab what my fuel pressure is. Will come in handy in the future.

I notice you have an MSD, how hard was it to set up and how much does it help, and where? Did you go MSD for the coil as well?

Back on topic, those fuel rails look bitchin man!

Not hard at all, idle is totally different, start-up is super fast, and low end rpm bog is illiminated due to a hotter and better spark which burns all the fuel. You will need to gap your plugs a tad bit bigger for the larger spark.

I used the Factory replacement coil by msd.

IMO worth the money.

Low rpm bog? And how about power in general? Butt dyno (and/or real dyno) approved?

Btw, thanks for the links, I will have to bookmark those ^_^.

Mopars run rich, its a given, a hotter better spark for the low end rpms where most of the fuel it dumped when you go WOT it can sometime lead to misfires and low torque, but high hp, you need torque down low and HP up high. It makes since, thje richer you run the more HP you get, the leaner you run the more torque you get. If you play around with Nitrous you would understand.

Power in general? Its an ignition system not a supercharger. If you have a lot of mods it works fine, putting it on a stock vehicle you will not notice much difference in POWER.

If your looking for power, i would go headers, tb, intake manifold, rockers, exhuast, intake, cam, heads, ect... MSD just helps bring everything together. Look at what they claim on there site...

MSD does add more power due to a better combustion, due to the hotter spark, but its not going to be a lot.

Mkay, exhaust before MSD it is. I already have the throttle body taken care of and plan on getting rockers within the week so its a start .

Yea, I'm getting the 1.7 HS rockers. How much did you notice from them? Consensus seems to be 10rwhp.

On stock things yeah about 8-10hp, with a good exhaust and intake setup maybe close to 17-20hp

1.7s raise your lift, increasing the valve opening letting in and out more air. The better your other mods are, the better the rockers will work.

While your installing the rockers i would upgrade to some stouter springs and replace the valve seals while your in there.
