Default Speaker Suggestions? 2000 Dak

okay so i've replaced my head unit with a Pioneer DEH-5100UB. sounds nice but need new speakers then eventually amp for full effect. I work at Best Buy part time and the car audio discount is amazing. so... my question is what speakers would be ideal for someone that listens to pretty much all types of music? the ones i'm looking at are

JBL GTO

Alpine SPS-600

Which would be easier to install as well? considering wiring and all the electrical mumbo jumbo

It depends on what you want to do. If you're going to get subs later on you're gonna want coaxial speakers because there really is no point in having components the bass in the interiors are useless when you get subs I would suggest some nice 6.5 power bass speakers. If you don't want subs then go with a nice set of components I would suggest alpines for components.

I had two 6" Bazooka tubes in my truck for a while...those things would jam pretty good too. Nothing like my 2 10" JL subs, but I was really suprised.

No. I powered them with my Kenwood amp. They hit pretty hard considering they were only 6 inchers. I was really shocked. Way more than I was expecting.

for the sub, do you have to tap into the speaker wire or is that what the rca cable is for?

bazooka tubes yes, hit waay harder than they should lol, my buddy had one in his geo, i could hear it from a 1/4 mile down, when he put a couple 10" in it was nowhere near that, they hit harder and sounded better in the car, but the bazooka for some reason covered more distance lol
