Default 5.9 burning oil?

I keep finding my oil pressure dropping but there's not a leak anywhere I'm making sure to add oil and not drive the truck as much as possible anybody know common places for this motor to burn oil? Or any other ideas why I might be losing oil and not know where it's going.

If it is a magnum then I can almost guarantee you that it is the intake manifold plenum. with the v8 magnums (not sure about v6) they have a two piece intake manifold dont know why but they do. and the gasket for the lower part will blow sending oil all over your intake manifold, throttle body, down into your cylinder and on to your spark plugs etc. At hughes you can a kit for 600 bucks that has all the parts you need to replace it and it gives you a new performance manifold here is the link. the link also shows a pic of the stock 2 piece manifold

I hope that is the answer you wanted. Also remember that it is cheaper just to get the gasket but it may happen again.

Or if you don't want to spend all that money you could always just get the hughes plenum plate and new plenum bolts, I think I paid around $80 for the plate last year. Change the gasket and bolt the aluminum plate on and you should be good.

Other than that the only other place where I can see you losing oil is around your rings.
