My headlights on my '97 have always been slightly yellow and unattractive, so I decided to buy a 3M headlight restoration kit. The kit cost about $15 on Amazon...

Everything you need is included in the kit except a drill and some masking tape. After about 40 minutes, I couldn't be happier with the results. My headlight lenses are now clear, and I can definitely see better at night.

+1 on the 3M kit. I used it with a pneumatic angle grinder and it cleaned up my headlights very well.

 

All I did was use an orbital buffer and a very minimal compound, took the fog right off.

 

Mine before and after. The kit works great and they now include the masking tape.

yea i did mine a year ago and still looks good.
i took my lenses off and got the edges real good to.
just watch the clips they brake real easy.

 

mine looked like **** when tried to do them and my buddy in autobody was confused to so we just scuffed them and cleared them haha they weren't yellow just cloudy but now they leak so aftermarket here i come haha

 

I got the 3m kit and did my girl friends car and it helped a bunch for sure. I was surprised, I didn't really think it would work that well...

 

I bought a Turtle Wax kit for $11. Comes with a bottle of spray, a bottle of liquid compound and 3 grades of pads. Looks good and was real easy.
Lights work and look great now.
