Yea I told the guy that I wasn't interested is a V6 and he said that he might be selling his truck to some dumb punk for $6000 so I told him if he could put up $500 more and make it $6500 Id sell.

Its weird to trade a N/A 4 banger with almost 2 times the hp of a V6 mag with over double the fuel economy.

but the good new is the I might of found a decent 4.7 auto 1999 with about 160k miles. if it wass a manual id be driving it around now, just waiting and weighting my options

the swap to a manual is well worth the time and effort. so even if you but an auto for a decent price you could still do the swap and come out ahead. Personaly I don't like automatics so I am kinda biased in that dept. I Feel like I have more power in my 5.2 5sp club cab than I did in my R/T standard cab.

I know if it were me I'd either be holding out for a manual or driving from the seller to wherever I could get a manual trans as my 1st trip in the truck. I hate automatics.
