Thats an issue, Maybe I should do a synthetic fluid change to maybe gain a few ponies and foot stomps.

 

Rear wheel hp depends on a lot of different things. Exhaust, air filter, transmission, torque converter , even spark plugs etc...Stock motors from the factory are limited ,Dodge rates the hp from the flywheel and a lot of hp gets lost going through the trans..

hey George I just read through your thread. Have you figured out your AC yet? I have a spare set of ac lines left over from my swap both have good ends on the compressor side and one has the accumulator end broken but the condenser side is still good. If you want them they are yours you could maybe get a compression fitting at the hardware store and mate the hemi compressor to the dakota accumulator. let me know if you'd want them.

 

.I still have the two hoses from the 4.7.If you have two off of a Hemi I can use them..

to those who followed this thread as I took on this unusual project thank you, But it was all in veign . On my way through Florida last month a really STUPID woman thought maybe she could get a better veiw of what was comming at the intersection if she got out a little further .. I could'nt stop and it totalled my truck..Now I'm searching for an old Cuda-Duster-Road runner- Or something like that to put this HEMI-motor in..I Was also considering a Jeep Wrangler, It depends on what I find and price...Any-one who knows of such vehicle please write back.I'll start a new thread and do it again.. _________ Hemi Swap...With pics ?
