thanks for all the advice i have a 2002, club cab, 4X4, 4.7L, and i thought the whole point of a CAI is for easy air flow and has anyone done a throttle body spacer

As far as lifts are concern. You can throw that idea out if you are looking to do a cheap suspension lift. The cheapest one is $1500, and pita to install. You can do a body lift a little easier and much cheaper, but that really doesn't gain you anything except allow you run 33's instead.

Cranking your tb's will gain you 2 inches in the front. Just enough for 33's. With that you will need blocks in the rear to lift the rear a little.

Look on ebay for superchips. They are cheap right now. $150

If doing a cai. Look into making your own. There are a few threads on here about how to do so. It will save you a lot of money.
Read through, a couple people already mentioned they're no good, including myself.

i've found a used 2715 max micro tuner for a little under 200 on ebay if i get that will adding a cai or high flow exhaust later effect the tuner in any way

Spend the extra money and buy a Diablo as it has more control over the engine parameters than a simple chip,

superchips is a tuner. i dont think they even make one for the dakota.

i bought the superchip off ebay and it works great haven't had time though to test the mpg difference but just from the take off i can feel the difference in power and throttle response . thanks for all the help with that . any body have a good exhaust idea? i want a loud cat back exhaust and am thinking of getting a high flow cat and running duals out the back. any comments ? anything i need different ?

i got a super 44 flowmaster system off ebay and i love it, its the loudest fm makes, there are a bunch of people that have magnaflow as well, but im partial to fm

i was bidding on one a few days ago had it at 22 bucks! but in the last 10min while i was in school it went up to 117 and i was outbid, i woulda loved to have got it for 22 lol
