lights behind the grill

Default lights behind the grill

ive seen some rams with lights behind the grill
is this possible with the dakotas?

its possible, but you have to make your own mounting bracket. the rams and 3rd gens have a mounting thing there already. the daks dont. or just mount them like me, on the front bumper.

I know frenchy has them mounted behind his grill (3rd gen dakota)

Fairly easy with flexible LED strips, buddy did it to his '06 Cummins

i can make my own mounting bracket and i want bright lights cause the ones i have now are very dim so i want more that will give me more visability where would the power come from?

power from your battery, thats how my piaas are wired. just know that if you put them behind you will loose some light because of the grill. so maybe go with a pencil beam pattern.

if its coming from the battery it will be on all the time where can i get power that i can add a seperate switch that i can have my normal lights on then these lights with my normal lights

theres a relay and switch. you can turn them on anytime you want.
