Default making a bed canoe rack

just wondering if anyone has made a canoe rack for their bed. i know theres the ones you can buy for 1 or 200 a piece, but ive seen them made out of 2x4s. i go canoeing once a year at a lake so theres no real point in something like that for me

We have this for the ram only ours is just like a T very simple to make if you dont want to spend money but we got ours for 45.00 Even better this requires no cutting or drilling.

Really 2nd Gen don't? LOL!

1st Gen does. I wonder if 3rd does?
I personally have bed rails with tie downs on top.
I never really seen the pockets used for anything, besides as a tie down. But using it is a slick way to mount up the canoe holder. Easily removable.

Well do you have a aftermarket hitch or do you use the bumper either way you could still make it work.

the bed pockets as in the ones in the bottom of the box? I have two recessed holes with the hooks in the front, the back is just a hook in the side... But, yea Might just be best to make something up using some self tapping screws and be on your way...
