Default Did the 2nd gen's come with 60/40 bench seats?

I just purchased a 5.2, 318 8 cylinder 98 dakota that has two worn out bucket seats. I want to replace with a bench 60/40 style seat.

Did the dakota's come stock with 60/40 seats or do i have to look at some other trucks in the junkyard?

I'm a new owner

thanks

My 01 had 2 buckets with a seat in the middle... I forget if it was connecting to one of the seats or seperate. Anyway I'll post a pic. These came in many dakotas. The center would flip up and it had a seat belt for the middle unlike my 02 that just has 2 buckets and a fixed center council.

No problem. Most trucks came with that setup, unless its a manual or a r/t. I think most of the rest came with that seat setup. So you shouldn't have much difficulty finding one.

Yeah, that's the same set-up I am looking for for mine too even though it is a manual. I think the seats are the same and all ya need is the console and belts but I could be wrong. I hate the set-up in mine, the drink holders are completely useless and the console sux too.

I'll get a picture on saturday and post. I have a 5 speed with the center console and drink holders. This really doesn't help me if I need to fit my son and wife in the front seat, thats why i'm looking for this middle seat section.
