yea i'm a wus* when it comes to breaking my truck i can't afford. lol
i've had belts come off b4 and it sucks. just wondering if anybody found a nut like that

I guess you could use a spacer of some sort and put the nut back on, I just left mine off because the pulley is pressed on and shouldn't come off.

My shroud stayed on too, just took clutch fan off and that was it.

i think the moldedshroud helps in the winter from the wiper fluid from freezing.
that must have been the design but it'll look better w/ a couple billet/painted
canisters instead.

that def looks better. prolly gets better air flow to.
did u do the sme with the window fluid?
or does the 5.9 not have that

It has it. I just don't use it. I don't need it, more **** in the engine bay to clutter it up.

So, does anyone tow without their clutch fan? I need to tow my trailer with my quad.

yes
i towed my single axle the other day to the dumps like 3 times.
maybe 500 lbs. of brush each time. no heating problems so far...

u should be fine with ur cold weather, it was 98F yesterday and i dont think i heard my efan turn on once(i was driving highway tho so it had a lot of air to suck in)

I went hunting the other day and made a pretty good climb at about 20mph up a hill, it was about 3/4 to a mile to where it leveled out and that sucker jumped up to about 230-235 id say in 90 degree weather. Scared the hell out of me! prolly didnt help that the ac was blaring but still lol.

I might just have to throw the clutch fan back on but I want to try flushing the rad and stuff before so. I dont want to hear that roaring sound anymore lol!
