it could be that one of the wires has come in contact with the exhaust manifold and is now grounding out. That has happened to mine 2 times now both after changing out the wires. Go check them and look for signs of melting on the wire. I fixed it by zip tying the wires up so that they can't come loose.

i checked teh wires. one of them was kinked bent 180 degrees right at the cap. i took it off and put it back on and it stopped missing. however the next day it missed again. i turned around to head home and halfway there it stopped missing. any other suggestions or should i switch out the wires first.

doesnt miss till its warmed up
misses bad/ bucks
stops missing after it does it w/o turning off the truck.

Sounds like you should try some new wires, then see what happens. You don't need anything crazy either, just go to Napa and pick up a cheap set.
