anyone else have a noisy clicking solenoid or relay you can hear in the cab? i noticed it a lot at first but with the intake and exhaust now and me getting used to it it doesn't bother me anymore also if you have the hurst shifter its like a amplifier for the gear noise and can rattle quite loud sometimes haha still better than the crappy stock shifter that had so much play in the gears and was a mile long and not solid
when i'm on the highway my gas pedal makes this sqeeking noice.
only when i let off the pedal then ease back on.
i thinks its a worn spring or somthing, anyone else get that?

My pedal squeeks, but I can't remember when it does. I'll have to check.

its because ur easing back into it ur not supposed to do that ur truck is yelling at u there is only two ways to drive it ***** out gas or full brakes lol
I know I need a new front driveshaft. That thing is really loose, and the boot got torn off somehow and the cv is shot. But I'm not real sure if that is what is rattling. It seems to be too much of a rattle for it to be the driveshaft. Of course a new one is $300 and I won't have that until summer. Maybe tomorrow I'll look at the cat. I guess it could be the driveshaft, but I don't know how to be certain without replacing it...
It does sound to be in the middle or back of the truck btw... not the front.
Its something that is hard to figure out because it won't do it until I get to 20mph or so.
We ended up pulling both shafts with the t-case swap. The shafts where OK. Got all new u-joints and strap kits ( that's what they call the bolts and halfmoon shaped straps that hold the shafts and u-joints together) both shafts and had them pressed in at the driveline shop. All for $200 tops. Thats doing the R/R work yourself. The T-case was another story. We got a salvage for $250 and had another 50 bucks in seals and hardware.
I went the cat converter route too a few years ago. I thought that sounded more like a pop corn machine under the truck. It also would make noise at idle. I bought an aftermarket cat when I redid the exhaust. Chrysler had a recall and a ten year warranty period but mine was out by a year or so.
I'm serious that its probably the u-joints. If I remember right it only made noise at around 30 MPH when I was in the truck with my son one time. It got worse I guess as the kid was driving until the one u-joint totally let loose and torqued the t-case bad enough to crack it. Not fun.
Warped rotors, at 12,000 miles. Had them recut, warped again before 25,000 miles. At 40,000+ and stopping sucks.
Don't have rotors turned, it usually messes up again later down the road. Possible go with a vented disk?
