need help with parts?
I need to know if I can use a steering knuckle from a 1999 dodge durango on a dodge dakota 2000 model . The threads for the brake calipar are finished and these are the only parts available here in Iceland . Otherwise I will have to drill out the threads and insert a nut and weld it stuck . Any suggestions?

But ask for some pictures be sent to you to inspect before you buy and remember even if they say its in good shape some places lie about its usefulness it may be junk.
its a gamble but worth the try
How much shipping may cost I don't know
You could have it brazed up drilled out and re threaded just use the caliper as a guide so its re threaded straight or have a machine shop do it all they can get it done.

( Look up part #'s on both and see if they cross. )
problem with that is no one sells them so nothing to check junk yards should know.
I do know a 2000 Dakota has different brakes than a 99.
98, 99, 2000 each year had different front brakes.

Just remember these pins don't need to be cranked down just around 25 to 30 torque I never used thread lock and they never came loose. when installing use caution you can cross thread them way too easy if its not easy to get in you have a problem back up retry.
