also all these discussions u also have to take in climate and altitude.
i just filled up and got 18.3mpg where as during the winter i get 14-15
got cai, exhaust, sct, and a fairly heavy foot lol
at sea level as well, in theory shouldn't i see the best gas mileage because air is denser here and weather isn't too extreme bout 30-40 in winter 70s in spring and 90s in summer

Don't fill your gas tank competely up when you refuel. My truck was averaging 12-12.5 mpg running from a full tank to near empty. Lately I have only been putting in 10 gallons of fuel at a time and it has my mpg up above 14 now. Not a huge increase, but every bit helps.

ur getting 14 with a v6 something aint right, u might wanna do a tune up cause im getting 18 with a v8 and heavy foot

Even with a tuner, yeah you will gain some but you have to spend $150 on one. It's going to take a long time to make that back. Not really worth it for the gas savings. More so for the power and towing assistance.
