Roll Call !! Post up your pics of your Dakota!!
Here's my 2000 4.7 dakota sport 4x4. start with the basics, 2in body lift sitting on some brand new 35" BFG All-Terrains.($1400) I'm from New Orleans, Louisiana so she gets to see the mud quite often
It puts many 4x4's (who are way higher) to shame! this truck is a beast. I got a cherry bomb on it and it sounds sweet. i get compliments on the paint job all the time. 5% tinted windows, custom sound, 10k HID's. Truck is also very quick and powerfull! unfortunately, the motor threw a rod about a month ago. if anyone can tell me what years and motors are interchangeable with mine. Not going to blame the truck, i am a 20 year old male who isnt to easy on my vehicles haha. Enjoy the pics and if you can answer my question that would help alot.

Nice truck. Do those tires rub in front when you turn? What about offroad? I have a lot more lift than you do and mine still touch the fender flare a little if I'm flexed out in a turn.
Custom suspension lift I'm guessing? Since it's an 01'
thanks man. When i first got my 35's i rubbed only on road when i turned left. When i got the truck it had 35's on it but they had little to no life left. i'd say im at 85-90% tread and no more rubbing, thank God!
I'm late to this thread, but here's my 1999 2WD Dakota Sport club cab, 3.9 five speed with 3.21 highway gears (WHY?!?!). It's bone stock right down to the lovely peeling Chrysler clear coat. Only things I've done to it are new exhaust manifold bolts, a new clutch (which is again giving me trouble), the 15X8's and Firestones off of my '92 and all four ball joints. It's rust free minus the bumpers. It's not the pissed-off six cylinder truck my '92 is but it gets out of the way fast enough and handles great.

If I can ever get the clutch figured out I'm going to throw on a set of R/T wheels and drive it until they fall off (or until a Hemi Ram 1500 convinces me to bring it home).
