Just joined the site so here goes... 2001 sport 2wd 5speed, which i had some fun with 2 days after buying it from a buy here, pay here place
i also have this unexplained extreme dislike of chrome, especially when there's only one piece and it's a huge, ugly, ridiculously shiny thing
But now I drive for a living and only see her once a month

I've already shared these photos in the introduction, but figured I'd share them here since it's relevant to the topic. My Dakota is a 1999, 3.9L V-6 magnum, 2WD, 5 speed manual transmission, with just over 211k miles on it.
Every time the engine starts, the house dog, my little boy, and my hound dog all want to ride with me. I started the engine to let it warm up for a second while I hooked up the trailer, and came back to this.
Latest job, hauling dad's busted lawn mower to the warranty repair place.
Ripping apart an old Datsun truck to haul off for scrap. The engine bay of the Datsun is twisted off because I got tired of rusted bolts and things in the cab, so I knocked out two windows, wrapped a chain through the cab and hooked it onto the Dakota and yanked the whole thing off. Before the cab ripped off though, the engine bay twisted off the frame.
Same job, scrapping the old Datsun pickup truck, just a different view. The whip on the back is a 102" steel whip CB radio antenna. I use CB radios to keep in touch with my wife and family at the house when I'm out and about since I get better reception with it in these hills than I do with my cell phone. It's also less distracting than a cell phone if you're driving.
The bed of the truck. The black everywhere is my failed attempt at using rubberized undercoat to make a poor man's bed-liner. I plan on eventually cleaning it out and putting in an actual spray-in liner.
The inside of the toolbox I keep in the back.
