01 SLT 4.7, By far the most expensive truck I have owned in terms of maintenance. But I love it so I just keep pouring $ into it.
Has a sweet stereo done, subs are in the box and it passes through into the cab. Insane setup, 2 Boston G3 12"s with 2 Boston GT24 1500w amps and 7.5" MBQuart mids in each door. Its an older system but sounds amazing.

I have a 2000 Dodge Dakota sport. It’s all stock right now but I’m wanting to make it a project truck. I’m 19 and have had this truck since I was 16. It’s going to be a long process because I don’t have a lot of money. I’m hoping to lower it, wrap it, new wheels and tires, some interior work, and performance upgrades. I will need a lot of advice and help on the best things to get for the best money and also the best order to do the things in. The truck has the 4 speed automatic transmission with the 3.9L V6 Magnum motor in it. I bought the truck with around 93,000 miles on it and it now has just over 131,000. It has been an amazing truck for me and has been an even better first vehicle. I do have two 10” subs powered by a 1200 watt amp. One sub is a kicker comp s in a ported box and the second sub is a digital design in a ported box. Let’s just say they hit hard. Anyway I’ll post some pictures on it now and maybe y’all can help me on the best thing to save up for first.

My first Dakota
My first Dakota. It’s a 1998 160k
I’ve had a Jeep with the 5.2 though.
It has a few things I need to address.
power steering line leaks a bit.
driveline sounds as if it need rear wheel bearings however the previous owner said they were changed recently.
I’ll get it up on jack stands tomorrow and have a look around.
Otherwise it is a very nice clean example.
garaged most of its life.
no clear coat issues.
Any comments or advice much appreciated!
