Default re-gear?

I have a 2002 Quad cab Dakota 4.7L v8 2wd with a 3" body lift (going on this monday) 2" shackles in back and 1" spacers up front. I'm going to be running 285/75/16 (33" tires) on a set of 16x8 cragars, I'm not going to have to re-gear am I? For some reason I believe I recalled reading that you would/should have to re-gear for 33's..

thanks in advance.

You don't have to, but you should. I'd get 4.56s.

I'm on 32's (265/75/16) on stock 2wd gears. speedo is fairly off though. tirerack says the stock tire is a 235 something, 29" tall.

And fuel mileage, more wear and tear on the tranny or clutch. Do what you want but improper gearing a huge pet peeve of mine. Do it right.

My V6 hasn't changed much at all with the 32's. Yea my combined MPG went down, but only from 16 to 15. And that's considering I have a V8 TB sitting under my dresser, and it probably needs new injectors and plugs. And i've been going a year with the CEL on for the infamous evap code.
