i agree with bpark-

I like the look of tinted lights..hell my 3rd brake is and i was going to do the tails but decided to go with some ones with black housing instead...bc its the mom with small children that crashes bc she cant see your brakes that would be a horrible disaster...anyone for that matter.

i think you guys are missing the point if you get brighter lights you could probally
go darker right? while keeping everyone on the road safe.

i couldn't agree with u guys more on the being safe part, i just really like the look lol
at night seeing my lights is no prob, during the day is iffy if ur directly behind me no prob, but if ur to the side u can't see them, im gonna eventually upgrade to some leds, just not in the budget right now.

i tinted mine once with 1 layer and cops started stalking me and my friends complained that they couldn't see my brake lights, even though they were bright as day during the day. the turning point for me was when the cops gave me a ticket for the brakelights being out(at night) when they weren't. that was a fun(and strange) day in court. lol

and paint thinner will eat away the plastic on the lens(my friend did that) steel wool will work at cleaning them up if go decide to redo it.
