hey daksport, wouldnt it have been easier to take off the hood emblem than to tape it off? ill post pics of mine soon. i put the inside of a magnum dodge head badge into my dakota hood badge.

mcnasty, not really i spent maybe 10 mintues on each. it looked like somthing i would have broken anyway. you tinted yours too?

did you change your hood emblem to read magnum instead of dodge?

man that plasti-dip'd emblem edge looks awesome, i might have to incorporate both that and nightshading the clear emblem into my truck, still haven't gotten around to tinting my grille black chrome, its been way too hot and i got sucked into playing apb on pc

not tinted, the new dodge emblem you find on the chargers, magnums and rams. i took my hood emblem apart wraped it in blue and put the new chrome emblem in it, ill try to post pics tomorrow after i replace brake lines(aarrgg)

its accually vinyl and yes spray glue. its landau top glue used on cloth and vinyl tops on cars. its what i use for all the interiors i do daily. 3m spray may work but it has a low release temp, and being on the hood, well hot.
