Default CB Coaxal Feed, Help!

So I went out and got me a CB and some antennas. I mounted the Antennas on the front of the bed right behind the rear window. The radio is mounted right under neath the dash to the right of the steering wheel.

Im looking for a way to run the Coaxals into the cab without going all the way underneath the truck and through the firewall. That would involve alot of zip ties and me kickin someones ***.

any ideas guys?

Look underneath the truck, in the general area where the front seats are bolted in. You should find a few drain holes with rubber grommets there that you can lift up the carpet from inside the truck and cut holes in the grommet, and run the coax in that way. Be sure to seal up the hole in the grommet with silicone or Permatex.

Just thought of this one might be able to bring it up where your 4x4 shifter is or bring it in the back door and along the carpet under the trim

Edit: wait do you even have the 4x4 shifter or do you have the **** on your dash totally forgot about that

when i had mine on my cab i just ran in through the drivers door then hid it in the trim on the side of the cab down to the floor under the floor side kick panel, then drivers kick panel, then under the carpet, so u could easily just run it through ur rear doors

""... got me a CB and some antennas..."

The standing wave (SW) with dual antennas is harder to set than a single antenna. Unless they are FAR part. Fire up a mike with the SW wrong and you can burn up a radio fast.

The length of coax you need is about 18ft. (SW comes into play here) and do not coil up the extra lay it under the carpet in a zigzag pattern.

But have fun and keep the clean side up and the dirty side down.
