If I read it right your using FOUR relays out of one flasher??
Why? Why not two relays, one for the left side, front and back.
One for the right side. Who cares if they ALL flash at different times?
No one will see front and back together. AND, that's providing all the relays hit
at different times. (which - they - should). And I'm looking at thr pic as if the
end three wirer's are leading twards the rear lights.
If I got it wrong, let me know. That's why I threw in the question marks!

the end 3 wires should be the factory wires. i think u over thought it. i am asuming u want the highs to flash while the lows are still on? ill draw one up not including the low beam circut. give me a few to draw and scam it.

this should simplify your hook up, unless the flasher cant handle the current, then switch 85 and 87 on relay #2

using two relay "would work" BUT the both brights on my truck are run in one line, meaning i have to run two extra relay to cancel out any electricity going back to the system. i have this setup(not exactly the same but still using the four relay to wig was my bights) when i designed the old design a year ago and only used two relay's, it would wig wag but turn both of the brights on at the same time cause they where run on the same line. and the nice thing about doing it like this is you still active both brights at the same time with the interior switch thus turning of the wig wag. i'm not gonna say your guys setup is wrong, it just won't work on a dakota, or any other car that has the same wiring setup.

my design was meant to be installed at each headlight with a seperate switch to controll the wig. with the brights on or not, you can hit the switch and it will still flash. and doing this at each light they will alternate flashing as well, if hooked up the way i listed at the bottom of the drawing. it works great on my truck. there is no "feedback" to the system becuase the factory wires get shut down on the 87a when the coil is energized. the only reason i used 2 instead of 1 relay is to create the alternating affect. show us your final product when you get it done.

I'm confused as to why you have a switch between the battery and the 30 terminal of the relay. The whole idea behind a relay is to run battery power directly to it and then put a switch across the 85-86 coil. And on a similar note, why would you have the 87 terminal of a relay turn on the 85-86 switch of another relay? Thats really a waste of a relay if you ask me.

Since you have relays turning on relays, do you realize that these electrical connections are nearly instantaneous and won't provide any sort of delay reaction?

His original drawing.

But now that I'm studying yours, I really don't understand it!! You have an input going into the output of the right relay??

**EDIT** Nevermind... I think I understand what you're doing. You aren't using it as a traditional relay... you're going in 87a and out 30 and 87. Is that right?

on relay 1, yes 87a is the input and 30 is the output to the factory high beam since those two are connected at rest. that is how I isolated the factory wire when the wig wags are on. energize the coil and now 87 and 30 are connected and no "backfeed" into the factory wire. 87 will be a flashing output(if you flip flop my relay2) and so will 87a if you put the flasher to 85. i really need to redraw this instead of adding sidenotes. but yes it works great.
