Default 4.7l Plastic radiator hose clamps?

Chrysler had geniuses working for them apparently. After making a quick stop I went to get back into my truck and noticed something dripping beneath the middle front end. Popped the hood and coolant was all over beneath the radiator cap and around the battery box. On the 4.7l the upper radiator hose is made up of two hoses with a T in the middle for the cap. The very ends have metal clamps but as you can see in the pics, the T is clamped with plastic clamps. One of them split and coolant was dumping out. Luckily my stop was at my grandmothers house and my grandfather had been a mechanic so I got a metal clamp to put on to get me home. Instead of breaking the other side plastic clamp off I just put another metal clamp over it to hold it on. I didn't want to damage the hose. Check your plastic clamps people!!
