Default Floorboard Wet

I put up a post awhile back probably the beginning of June and my passenger floorboard was wet on my 2003 dodge dakota. but i fixed that and unclogged the ac drain and i go out to my car today and already it is flooded again. I am getting tired of it. but i need the ac since i am in Florida. What should i do. and i was thinking about rhino lining the inside of the truck but would that decrease the value of the truck at all. because this is i believe the third time i had to dry out my carpet and the passenger carpet is pretty ruined. what do you guys think i should do.

Are you positive it is the A/C drain?

Another common issue that cause wet carpet is a leaking rear window seal...the water gets in, runs down and along the door sills, and pools on the passenger side, where it makes the carpet wet...

Well pull your trim along the door(just pull up on it) and then pull your kick panel(that just pulls off as well) and pull the carpet back and have start spraying the truck back window door and windshield leaving about 10-15 min before you move on. I have the same problem but I know mine is the a/c drain tube. Now with my truck parked and the bed off im getting a lot done tom I have planned paint frame, oil change and rear dif change. Then next weekend shocks. I have never done so much to a truck before lol

i always assumed if the floorboard was wet, that the heater core was shot and that needed to be replaced, i wouldn't rhino line it, cause bedliner smells bad, and it would be a long time until it goes away, prolly won't tho cause of the heat, if u wanted to do something like that, i would look into something specifically made for interior floor boards like a sound deadener like the lizard skin stuff

It can also be the condensation drain. What happened on mine is the water tension made the water hold on to the lip of the tube where it sticks through the firewall and run back in side. I had to get a 90 degree fitting to fix the issue.

You can fix a leak with silicone.

Get a hose and have at it? You want to be looking to see if there is any water running along the inside of the truck, so obviously you are going to be removing some trim pieces and whatnot.

I discovered mine was leaking because my daughter said "Hey, dad, its raining on me!"
