Pep Boys is also having a sale on some no name tires, called Dakota's? They look pretty dam mean tho.. and there only about 120 a piece too.

I did a 2" lift on my Grand Cherokee and put on 265/65/17 Nitto Terra Grapps. Got them for $121.50 a tire, $560 out the door after mount, balance, tax and fees.

I haven't put a tire on one of my trucks that didn't say either Mickey Thompson or Dick Cepek on them in almost 15 years, but I couldn't swallow the $200 a tire for Mickey ATZs.

So far, after about a year and 13k miles, the Terra Grapps have been great!!!

My buddy had them on his dakota and they only lasted about 30k and hammer why dont you like bfg just curious mine have been great.

I've been running Michelin LTX for years and I freakin' love them! They ride like nothing else. BS Duellers faired about the same as GY

I have been running them for 13K...not a lick of issues. I still have plenty of tread depth left. They still look new. Awesome tire off road and in adverse blizzard conditions. I have never had a tire perform so well off road, on road, and in wicked blizzards.

+1 on this tire.

Two sets of BFG A/Ts, one on a Jeep Wrangler I had and they wore very unevenly and cupped on me. Other set on a Ford Diesel 4x4 I had back when I was pulling a bass boat every weekend. Belt separation and cupping issues. Tire shop kept blaming the truck, but I replaced the BFGs with a set of Mickey Thompson MTXs without touching anything else and for the two more years I had the truck, never had a tire issue.

The set of BFG Long Trails that were on my Grand Cherokee when I bought it rode ok, wore fine, but I ended up putting five plugs in them total in two and a half years. Final straw was when a cotton plant stalk put a hole in one while I was dove hunting. The Nitto's go the exact same places and I have yet to have to put a plug in one.

A lot of guys swear by BFG tires, but I ain't had a set do me right yet...

I had Firestone Destination M/T's on my ZJ up until last June... Best tire I've ever had, hands down. I wheel the crap out of my Jeep so I had some uneven tire wear and it was time for a new set even though a couple still had decent tread. I ended up getting a great deal on a set of 31x10.5x15" Dayton Timberline AT II's for about $480 installed. Not the best off road tire, but they surprised me a couple weeks ago when I went wheeling. They are basically like the Destination A/T's, just a lot cheaper. They ride well and were cheap, I guess that's all that is really important.

That sucks we had a couple sets of bfgs and they are done well just had my first hole in my truck tire but you will understand why when you see how bald they are. I've had my truck in lots of rocky conditions have done a lot of duck,deer,turkey hunting plus off roading never had a problem with chunking or anything. I hope with new ones as long as I rotate and kick my burn out habbit I should have good luck with them.

I have the same Terra Grapplers on my dakota and love them. They have a nice aggresive looking tread pattern and have been really good to me. They weren't too expensive either. $75 a tire less than the BFGs.

I'm fairly new to trucks - old with cars...

My 2003 Dakota 3.9 SXT 4WD (otherwise looks like the pic above) has Cooper Discoverer 265/75 R16's they look fine but they are at 50% tread and a bit skippy on corners in the wet.

I don't off road, just haul light stuff, but live in a hilly area that gets lots of cold weather; snow and ice in the winter and the truck gets used by my son and daughter when their respective G8-GXP and Camero SS have to stay in the garage (good old dad).

So the question is what recommendations do you have for good all season tire that performs well in the wet.

Also would you stay with 265/75 R or go with the standard 265/70 R? I just checked and my spare is of course old and 265/70 R16.

Anybody with experience of Hankook Dynapro ATM RF10?
