My 2003 Dakota 3.9 SXT 4WD (otherwise looks like the pic above) has Cooper Discoverer 265/75 R16's they look fine but they are at 50% tread and a bit skippy on corners in the wet.

I don't off road, just hall light stuff, but live in a hilly area that gets lots of cold weather; snow and ice in the winter and the truck gets used by my son and daughter when their respective G8-GXP and Camero SS have to stay in the garage (good old dad).

So the question is what recommendations do you have for good all season tire that performs well in the wet.

Also would you stay with 265/75 R or go with the standard 265/70 R? I just checked and my spare is of course old and 265/70 R16.

Anybody with experience of Hankook Dynapro ATM RF10?

Thanks
Nittro Terra Grapplers are good for the price a lot of the guys like them I know bpark swear by his lol I havent heard to much on the hankook stuff I think someone on here has them. The general ats(I think thats what they are) they are a pretty good tire for the price. Then I swear by my bfgoodrich at's yes they are a bit more $$$ running about 50-80 more a tire depending where you look(I found them as low as 145.00 a tire) but so far they have never left me dissapointed other than one time but it was a sheet of ice and nothing else could make it up. Right now my back ones if you stick the penny in the treads it hides the little top ridge of the penny and they still do great for how much tread is left.

IVE GOT THE HANKOOKS!!! i love them, only issues with them is that the rubber seams a little soft so there are some chunks missing on my tires. but they do well in all conditions. i will probably buy them again. but the ware on them is really good. still look very new.

edit: I probably wont buy my hankooks again. ive noticed that the rubber is really effin soft and there are huge chunks missing on the tires. ill try and get some shots tmw. and the edge of the tire, where the sidewall meets the tread is really soft and looks like crap. i love the look of them but soft rubber. thankfully ive got plenty of life on them. prolly replace them next winter. boo! i really loved these tires. guess i gotta get drag radials now with all the hp im making now! haha jk.

If you're already at Wal Mart and pricing is an issue, look at the Uniroyal Liberator AT's. Not expensive and if you're not an idiot like me and pressure them to 50 with no load, they ride pretty well.
