We installed a soft cover extang on our ram 4x4,5.7 hemi, auto ,1500, 20 in wheels. We didnt install it for better mpg just to keep some stuff from getting wet. We maybe saw a mpg increase but most of the time is minmal plus it has the mds which shuts off 4 of the cylinders while driving so its hard to give a real reading since im always in and out of the throttle the mds doesnt kick in for very long.

http://www.undercoverinfo.com/

Put one of these on my Dak, didn't notice any mpg increase, but it sure is nice to throw the welder or my guns in the back (it's a carring consealed charge here if they are in the cab) and be able to lock them in. And the thing is strong too.....have trimmed trees down the drive way while standing on it Know it's not what you are looking for, but remove 2 rings, unhook the struts, and lift it off. Only ways ~57 lbs too........

FWIW

I would recommend that you avoid Ranch Fiberglass Tonneau covers. The company does not support it's products.
